i aborted you in wonder,
                                    you revived
in shadow,
              came into your own again,
regained strength
                     from its flux.
no regrets:
               memory abandoned me
on the doorstep
                   of time;
orphaned by thought
                           in the emptiness,
we outlasted eternity;
                              embryo of enigma
launched the silence,
                     serenading us
with its steadiness.

                            cloudless,
the sky invaded me
                          with its infinity,
where i found you loitering,
                                    sharp-eyed
as a falcon,
                preying on my prayers,
my mumbled words
                        on the rack
of my wisdom,
                 too late to save me
from myself.
